It's a nice VGA Box or sure and is nearly the exact same in term of video/audio quality of the official Dreamcast one. Why spend $100 on the official one when this one here is near;y the same for a quarter of the price.

Had to purchase due to now S-Video on new LED TV. Works Great colors are brighter and sharper. Would recomend to anyone needing to connect to a TV that does not have S-Video. One thing to note on the Package it states that it has S-Video cable included to provide you with optimal sound but no sound will or has ever come through a S-Video Cable. Just a funny little note. Great product though!

Works exactly as expected; connects a Dreamcast to a VGA monitor. Colors are brighter, images onscreen are sharper and less fuzzy, and the box has a cool red LED that turns on with the Dreamcast. The case is a very clear acrylic, and the output selection is nicely varied: it has one 1/8" stereo output jack (which was a pleasant surprise), as well as stereo RCAs, and composite, s-video, and VGA video outputs. Shipping was surprisingly fast for the budget option, as my item had arrived a full 2 weeks before I expected it, and although mine arrived slightly damaged, the helpful customer service people at vpgames resolved my issue quickly and professionally. Within the next day I was a satisfied customer. This item is a nothing less than a necessity for every Dreamcast owner living in the 21st century. If you're thinking about it, stop thinking and buy it already.
